Minheku Construction is proud to announce that they developped a Carpentry Training Program for workers in Great Whale. Over a period of 4 to 5 years, participants will have the opportunity to work both mathematics and carpentry theories, as well as the practical application of Carpentry on Minheku Construction projects in Great Whale. The program, developed in collaboration with the CHRD (Cree Human Resources Development) and the Cree School Board, will allow participants to obtain their Companion Carpenter Competency Card from Commission de la Construction du Québec (CCQ). In the future, they will be able to work in their trade and with better working conditions.

On March 23rd, 2017 Minheku Construction went to Great Whale to meet the 15 participants in the Carpentry Training Program. Stephane Poulin, VP Finance and Administration and Elizabeth Dallaire, HR Counselor, spent their morning with the group, answering questions and explaining what’s next.  They were very proud to see motivated participants in class and ready to learn.

Minheku Construction congratulates the participants and wishes them the best of success.
